The Dublin Sewcial Club
A monthly stitch and bitch above a Dublin bar. Bring whatever textile project you are working on and sew in company.
When and where
The Dublin Sewcial Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM. That is once a month, so it is worth putting in the calendar. It meets at John's Bar & Haberdashery, Dublin 8, Co. Dublin.
Times and venues do move, particularly at the start of a new season and around bank holidays, so it is worth confirming the next date with the group before travelling.
What to expect
The Dublin Sewcial Club is a bring-your-own-project group. People arrive with whatever they are working on, sit together and get on with it. There is usually no formal teaching, but asking someone how they did something is entirely normal.
Bring your project and your own tools. Skill levels in the room vary from beginner to very experienced.
Skill levels in the room run from complete beginner to very experienced, and people are generally glad to be asked how they did something.
Who it suits
Anyone with a project on the go, at any skill level.
